Went photoshoot with my friends on a sunny sunday. It was a raya day and most of us were bored. A friend called up if I could take pics of his ride and of we went to the meeting point. It was at the factories and there is no traffic at all. we proceded with our photoshoot. The owner is one of my friend. He decided to sell off his monster and he called me to take picstures of his car for memories. Trully a wonderful car and well kept. Hatyai trip !

During the weekends I manage to squeeze a 1 day trip with my friends to Thailand, hatyai. Its been awhile since i been to hatyai, the last time I remember was like 7 or 8 years ago ? so, I was suppose to meet up with carmen at her house n proceed to fetch kyin and wen han. we had breakfast before starting our journey to the north. After almost 2 hours of driving, me manage to reach bukit kayu hitam. There wen passed by the malaysian boarder and we began to look for parking at the duty free shop. We took a taxi to hatyai.

Finally, we reach Hatyai around 1 plus, and here comes the girls expertise, SHOPPING ! Habis, from what I see, everything they saw are nice or cute things. and the boys are the usual suspect, hungry is another big problem for us, so we pestered to girls to have lunch. after walking around the town area, me manage to find a shop. they serve nice chicken rice and 'pigs leg' after our lunch, we went around Hatyai.

Most of our travelling are done by the famous Toot toot. It is a must for people visiting thailand to sit this mode of transportation.after that, the whole day is spent by visiting shopping malls and shopping. Nothing much for us guys as we did not buy things which ended up both girls are the top buyers.Kah yin has the most variety of stuff and carmen, the most amount of bras bought. Ill let the pictures do the rest. overall,It was a very nice n relaxing holiday.

Found this on the internet when searching on how to improve my car's handling..found this useful so i decided to share it with everyone.Taken from wikipedia

Car handling and vehicle handling is a description of the way wheeled vehicles perform transverse to their direction of motion, particularly during cornering and swerving. It also includes their stability when moving in a straight line. Handling and braking are the major components of a vehicle's "active" safety. The maximum lateral acceleration is sometimes discussed separately as "road holding". Handling is an esoteric performance area because rapid and violent manoeuvres are often only used in unforeseen circumstances. (This discussion is directed at road vehicles with at least three wheels, but some of it may apply to other ground vehicles.)

Cars that drive on public roads, whose engineering requirements emphasize handling above passenger space and comfort, are called sports cars.

Factors that affect a car's handling

Weight distribution

Center of gravity height

The center of gravity height, relative to the track, determines load transfer, (related to, but not exactly weight transfer), from side to side and causes body lean. Centrifugal force acts at the center of gravity to lean the car toward the outside of the curve, increasing downward force on the outside tires.

Height of the center of gravity relative to the wheelbase determines load transfer between front and rear. The car's momentum acts at its center of gravity to tilt the car forward or backward, respectively during braking and acceleration. Since it is only the downward force that changes and not the location of the center of gravity, the effect on over/under steer is opposite to that of an actual change in the center of gravity. When a car is braking, the downward load on the front tires increases and that on the rear decreases, with corresponding change in their ability to take sideways load, causing oversteer.

Lower center of gravity is the principal performance advantage of sports cars, compared to sedans and (especially) SUVs. Some cars have light materials in their roofs, partly for this reason. It is also part of the reason that traditional sports cars are open or convertible.

Body lean can also be controlled by the springs, anti-roll bars or the roll center heights.

Center of gravity forward or back

In steady-state cornering, because of the center of gravity, front-heavy cars tend to understeer and rear-heavy cars to oversteer, all other things being equal. The mid-engine design offers the ideal center of gravity.[citation needed]

When all four wheels and tires are of equal size, as is most often the case with passenger cars, a weight distribution close to "50/50" (i.e. the center of mass is mid-way between the front and rear axles) produces the preferred handling compromise.

The rearward weight bias preferred by sports and racing cars results from handling effects during the transition from straight-ahead to cornering. During corner entry the front tires, in addition to generating part of the lateral force required to accelerate the car's center of mass into the turn, also generate a torque about the car's vertical axis that starts the car rotating into the turn. However, the lateral force being generated by the rear tires is acting in the opposite torsional sense, trying to rotate the car out of the turn. For this reason, a car with "50/50" weight distribution will understeer on initial corner entry. To avoid this problem, sports and racing cars often have a more rearward weight distribution. In the case of pure racing cars, this is typically between "40/60" and "35/65." This gives the front tires an advantage in overcoming the car's moment of inertia (yaw angular inertia), thus reducing corner-entry understeer.

Using wheels and tires of different sizes (proportional to the weight carried by each end) is a lever automakers can use to fine tune the resulting over/understeer characteristics.

Roll angular inertia

This increases the time it takes to settle down and follow the steering. It depends on the (square of the) height and width, and (for a uniform mass distribution) can be approximately calculated by the equation: I = M(height2 + width2) / 12.

Greater width, then, though it counteracts center of gravity height, hurts handling by increasing angular inertia. Some high performance cars have light materials in their fenders and roofs partly for this reason.

Yaw and pitch angular inertia (polar moment)

Unless the vehicle is very short, compared to its height or width, these are about equal. Angular inertia determines the rotational inertia of an object for a given rate of rotation. The yaw angular inertia tends to keep the direction the car is pointing changing at a constant rate. This makes it slower to swerve or go into a tight curve, and it also makes it slower to turn straight again. The pitch angular inertia detracts from the ability of the suspension to keep front and back tire loadings constant on uneven surfaces and therefore contributes to bump steer. Angular inertia is an integral over the square of the distance from the center of gravity, so it favors small cars even though the lever arms (wheelbase and track) also increase with scale. (Since cars have reasonable symmetrical shapes, the off-diagonal terms of the angular inertia tensor can usually be ignored.) Mass near the ends of a car can be avoided, without re-designing it to be shorter, by the use of light materials for bumpers and fenders or by deleting them entirely.

Suspension

Automobile suspensions have many variable characteristics, which are generally different in the front and rear and all of which affect handling. Some of these are: spring rate, damping, straight ahead camber angle, camber change with wheel travel, roll center height and the flexibility and vibration modes of the suspension elements. Suspension also affects unsprung weight.

Many cars have suspension that connects the wheels on the two sides, either by a sway bar and/or by a solid axle. The Citroën 2CV has interaction between the front and rear suspension.

The flexing of the frame interacts with the suspension. (See below.)

Suspension travel

The severe handling vice of the TR3 and related cars was caused by running out of suspension travel. (See below.) Other vehicles will run out of suspension travel with some combination of bumps and turns, with similarly catastrophic effect. Excessively modified cars also may encounter this problem.

Tires and wheels

In general, larger tires, softer rubber, higher hysteresis rubber and stiffer cord configurations increase road holding and improve handling. On most types of poor surfaces, large diameter wheels perform better than lower wider wheels. The fact that larger tires, relative to weight, stick better is the main reason that front heavy cars tend to understeer and rear heavy to oversteer. The depth of tread remaining greatly affects aquaplaning (riding over deep water without reaching the road surface). Increasing tire pressures reduces their slip angle, but (for given road conditions and loading) there is an optimum pressure for road holding.

[edit] Track and wheelbase

The track provides the resistance to sideways weight transfer and body lean. The wheelbase provides resistance to front/back weight transfer and to pitch angular inertia, and provides the torque lever arm to rotate the car when swerving. The wheelbase, however, is less important than angular inertia (polar moment) to the vehicle's ability to swerve quickly.

Sorie for my absence in blogging, Ive been super busy lately with my work and studies, assignments are never ending. Thursday was labour day eve and norther touge decided to have a mega TT. I was there to have a look eventhough i have assignments due the next day. Manage to catch up with all the old friends and amazingly, alof of people started to play turbo.Hmm, should I join in the turbo gang ? anyways, the TT went on smoothly and me and the gang headed up to teluk bahang dam. Throughout the journey, my car started to make fun of me, my clutch started to slip, car even jerked. It seems that my problems never end. Back to the meeting, everyone reached teluk bahang dam in one piece. Its been awhile since i went up to the dam. I enjoyed the scenery and the calmness there.Ill let the pictures do the talking.

Canon recently organised a SLR workshop for their business partners, as I just joined Canon, I was there to learn a thing or two from canon's DSLR. There were explanations from professional photographer and i manage to gain some knowledge from him. After the workshop, we were given assignments, and our subject is, two models ! we are suppose to take pictures of the models. Me the only olympus DSLR tried to take a few shots also until my batteries died, Which I forgot to charge. Genting-KL-Genting trip

I was at genting few days ago for some events. Me and my friends attended Coway's annual dinner too. The dinner is located at sunway hotel but before we went to the dinner, we headed up to genting as my friends wanted to 'ask' some money from Mr. lim. Nothing muched happen in the 1st day at genting as most of us are too old for their theme parks so we sat down at the hotel and chit chatted. On the second day, we headed down to KL and we were stuck in Jam's , yes, multiple jams. lol. As soon we reached KL, we checked in to our hotel . We had around 1 hours to prepare for our dinner and that is what we did.

After the annual dinner we headed to coco banana for some clubbing action. I manage to meet up with my old friend leeann and we chatted outside of the club. After awhile, I went in to have some drinks and 'eye washing' hehe. What I can say is KL clubs are better than penang's.

The third day we went up to genting again. This time most of us are tired or bored of genting. But few friends went back to penang as there are not enough trans port to go back. I stayed back to enjoy my extra holiday.

Nothing lasts forever. This is a lesson we all learn the hard way. She'll hurt you, and you'll probably hurt someone else. It's a vicious cycle that one must learn about, in order to survive the crazy game of "love".

Let's face it, we have all been through the dreaded breakup . If you haven't, believe me, you soon will. So here is an eight-stage timeline you may experience that can help you recuperate after a breakup.

Stage 1- Time heals everything: It's normal to have low self-esteem when someone you love leaves you. But remember, you're still the same person that she once fell in love with.

The only difference is that you are no longer together. Believe me, you'll find someone else in time. As for your broken heart, the old saying time heals everything cannot be more true. (Most ppl tend to agree but not me....but it does work for some)

Stage 2- You are vulnerable: Anyone can take advantage of you when you are feeling vulnerable. You must therefore be extra careful not to look to quick fixes, such as dating old flings.

Stage 3- Feelings of denial: At this stage, you will probably call your ex many times to question whether the relationship is truly over, or whether there is still a chance that your relationship can be salvaged.

Stage 4- Feelings of bitterness: Remember, the relationship is over, so don't express feelings of sadness and bitterness to your ex . If you do, you'll be letting her know that you are unable to handle her decision, which makes you look immature. Instead, channel those feelings into positive energy by improving the skills at the activities you love.

Stage 5- Take time off: A lot of men try to rebuild their new broken fragile ego, by dating again too soon after a breakup. Stop! You'll only end up damaging yourself even more, as well as the person you are dating. If you date someone just to fill a gap, that's the way you'll end up treating that person. (Then again...depends on individuals on how they deal with it)

Stay away from women who'll prey on your fragile emotional state, and take advantage of your vulnerability. This will only give you a false sense of trust. Take time off and get involved in things you never had the time to do before.

Stage 6- Socialize: Meet a lot of new people. Use this time to improve relations with old friends, network, and make new friends. A well-balanced life will lessen the impact of a breakup, because you will still have the other aspects of your life intact, and improved.

Stage 7- Fall in love: Eventually, as time passes, you will fall in love again. Make sure to let yourself fall in love, and take the time to really let your partner in your life. There is nothing better than a new flame to make you forget an old one (once you have had the time to heal, of course).

Stage 8- Don't set yourself up: Don't get carried away with this new found flame, remember nothing lasts forever. Don't make this person the sole focus of your life, because if it doesn't workout, you'll find yourself right back at Stage 1.

As soon as i reached penang after my pangkor trip. me and my friends headed to penang bowl for a game of bowling. We played around 2 games before calling it off. But before that, A friend of mine needed to go genting as he needs to fetch his boss. So I decided to tag along. We stayed at the maxims suite where it cost 3k plus a night. We manage to celebrate Victors birthday, which is also a friend of mine , Happy belated birthday victor !

Since there was a long holiday for me and my friends, we decided to have a photo shoot because my friend, Ray, finally had his DSLR. We proceeded to bukit jambul nearby where we have lunch. After lunch we headed to a lake nearby to take pictures. After a few pictures, I met up with Alan to go celebrate hari raya with our malay friends. We went to Aboo's house where we are served with plenty of foods.We hanged around for an hour or two before parting ways.I headed home because I was out the whole day.

Im back ! from pangkor that is, me and my friends went for a short holiday. The trip was planned for quite sometime and finally it was succesful. the trip consist of 21 people. Joo manage to lend his dad's vans for the trip which saves us alot of cost.It took us around 4 hours to reach lumut jetty where we sat ferry to reach pangkor.The ferry trip took us 30 minutes only.We checked in at telok dalam resort where our rooms are chalet style rooms. We never wasted time and headed to the pool.ill let the pictures do the talking ok ? 56K warning as ive taken over 500 pictures, but ill post a few of them only la.

I was a very happy man. My wonderful girlfriend and I had been dating for over a year, and so we decided to get married.

There was only one little thing bothering me...It was her beautiful younger sister.

My prospective sister-in-law was twenty-two, wore very tight miniskirts, and generally was bra-less.

She would regularly bend down when she was near me, and I always got more than a nice view. It had to be deliberate. Because she never did it when she was near anyone else.

One day her 'little' sister called and asked me to come over to check the wedding invitations. She was alone when I arrived, and she whispered to me that she had feelings and desires for me that she couldn't overcome.

She told me that she wanted me just once before I got married and committed my life to her sister.

Well, I was in total shock, and couldn't say a word.

She said, 'I'm going upstairs to my bedroom, and if

you want one last wild fling, just come up and get me.'

I was stunned and frozen in shock as I watched her go up the stairs.

I stood there for a moment, then turned and made a beeline straight to the front door. I opened the door, and headed straight towards my car.

Lo and behold, my entire future family was standing outside, all clapping!

With tears in his eyes, my father-in-law hugged me and said, 'We are very happy that you have passed our little test. We couldn't ask for a better man for our daughter. Welcome to the family.'

And the moral of this story is: Always keep your condoms in your car.

Me and my friends came up with a crazy idea of being mat rempit for the night, because we wanted to avoid the traffic and the people. So me and my friends gathered other friends to join us in this mat rempit activities.I manage to ask carmen if she wanted to join us and she agreed. We started after 12 where we slowly move around penang, and broke many many laws. yes i mean alot ! we were passing each traffic lights which is red.

I was telling to my friends that we hated mat rempit so much which ended we ourselves being a mat rempit. The journey was fun as we get to see the roads from a biker's view, It was trully different from driving a car. we had to go thru rain or shine. and even fights. cmon, its merdeka and people are fighting, no unity eh ! lol

We met up with a few detours where few of our friends were cought by police because most of the bikes are modified, pity them but i was spared as i was riding a stock scooter.We manage to finish our convoy at 7

so, been wondering where have i been without bloggin ? the answer will be working, recently ive been busy working, so please accept my apologies. My recent trip will be langkawi. I went there to work for a camera company, trying to promote their camera's. The 1st day we reached, the boss asked us if we could help him clear his old stock.Me and my friends told him yes, and to our suprised, he's trying to call us to clear his 'old stock' which to us is like dinosaur camera's ! 1.3 megapixels and the price to sell ? rm 700 ! wat the, who in the world so dumb wants to buy a 1.3 mp camera for rm 700 while a 9mp camera cost only 699 ? haha... We ended up selling normal camera's and we did push out a old camera, which is 6 mp at 999. well, we didn't have enough time to shop around but I will certainly go there again for my sight seeing. Ill let the pics do the talking.

It was my last day in KL, and we decided to go yumcha. There was a jazz festival happening and we decided to meet up with hooi yi's friend, khiddir. We were late as usual. The festival ends at 12.30 and we were there at 12. After a short chit chat, we decided to move to a place to yum cha, and suddenly clubbing came to our idea. We met up with jong n puven( wrong spelling i guess ) at Sunway's bar celona.We wanted to go coco banana but due to budget constraints we changed place. Honestly, the food sucks, but you wouldn't be free to think of your tummy anyways... There's too much fun to be had.. Hah! But for the greater good, there will be a buffet line this round.

As before, there will be a mini race again in the afternoon. But this time, I'll be organising it to ensure fairer proceedings. And TROPHIES will be awarded to the winner for bragging rights and just to plainly SHOW-OFF!

I'd confirmed the date ASAP this time round so that participants will have at least a month to prep your cars and save up for the event. I hope you guys will do so to maximise your fun on track!

I decided to change my tires today and a few of my friends also decided to change since they manage to get their hands on 2nd hand neovas. we met up around 6 plus and changed our tires. Its been awhile I am using bald neova and it was bad. Wheelspin are everywhere :-) . With my new tires, I can be rest assured of my safety.lol ...Let the pictures do the talking

A friend of mine was celebrating his birthday and he invited me and other free school friends. The party started at 9. At that time there was only a few of us, We decided to start the part without the others, by eating the KFC's After awhile, the rest of the gang came and all of us started chatting about our school life, and catching up with each other. It seems that everyone is doing well, including few of our friend who had already been married. After the Food, we decided that we start our drinking session. There were 7 bottles of liqour at our disposal, named JD, martini, baccardi lemon, apple, and others. a few that weren't drinking decided to play mahjong and ping pong while the rest stayed for the drinking session. It was fun, because everyone was drinking bottom's up. Soon, the kick of the liqour came and most of us was tipsy. After few rounds , i decided to go meet my other friends, While other's continued with their drinking. I was drunk and i drove very slow. Pictures taken from our Birthday boy, Han wei. Andrew called me to ask if I was interested to join him to visit his silver banana. I agreed and me make our way to Ipoh. Raj also joined in the fun. 3 of us drove to ipoh with my satria. The journey was fun with chit chatting among us. As soon we arrived in ipoh, TK took us for lunch. The duck noodle was superb.

We meet up with a few friend that was from KL. After our lunch, we decided to hit up to touge. At the afternoon, the weather was nice, till suddenly rain poured out on us. So we decided to take a slow drive down and watch Tk do best, drifting ! We stop beside a nice place to take pictures also

We went back to visit andrew's car and till the night comes, Boy came and met us with his pristine eg. We headed up to touge again. It was fun 'trying' to chase boy, I end up oversteering and i got lost. I got a crappy HID in my car which can't beam far enough. I gotta say, Boy is Fast ! After touge, we decided to head home and andrew has to stay at ipoh to monitor his silver banana which is still in the hospital.

It was a very nice day since it is track day. we departed from penang at 4.30 a.m. at tommax sticker shop. The journey to Kg. Gajah took around 3 hours. We used the trunk road for some touge action. Before that we were suppose to meet up with the others at bukit merah R&R. As we proceded, The convoy was divided into the 2 groups. 1 for fast action touge on the trunk roads and 2nd for slow steady cruising. I decided to follow the fast group but I was not fast, I was still having sleep deficiency. so I decided to take it normal. As we reach the track, all of us was happy as it is time to attack the track ! We unpack ourstuff, and we took some time to rest to wait for the others to come.As the clock hit around 9, we were divided into few groups. I was in the same group as Raj, Suhimi and shazwan(DC5). It was not fun at all, I was overtaken by them as I was not as fast as them. Afternoon, the organizers organised a mini race, so i decided to sign up to try my luck and I was lucky. I was assigned to the .1.6 category, so I will be meeting Raj, suhimi, shazwan and many other fast cars. I manage to maintain my position till the 2nd last round Shazwan(DC5) spund out of control.I manage to creep up to 3rd place. The mini race was very 'Hostile' as everyone was trying to overtake everyone. I did enjoy my self and I hope ill be prepared for future trackday's. Durian Touge !!!

It was a nice saturday afternoon, and the weather was nice, alan was back in town, so we decided to bring Alan to eat durian at teluk bahang. Me, Wayne, Alan and of course our jockey, Mr. Raj became our driver.The car driven was not a R3, but a kelisa ! damn Mr. Raj can touge with any car. We started driving slowly to enjoy the sea breeze, after reaching the teluk bahang dam, we decided to have some spirited driving ! it was fun, and fast ! We stop by at one of the corners to eat durians. It was a fun drive.

All of these meanings are according to wikipedia, but from what i see, some 'kids' doesnt know what is great qualitites. Yes, its true a 1.3 satria is much much cheaper than a audi, but doesnt mean it will perform less than a audi. I do belive you pay for what you get, but still, its wrong for being snobbish. On sunday , I received a call from a fren telling me that a satria with 1.8 cant touge. This really piss me off when i know that the driver is driving a continental. So what ? doesnt mean u pay more u will have better stuff. I decided to invite the bugger to come join us for touge session, but much to our anticipation, the bugger chicken out!! End up, me, Scavanger, daniel ,eugene having the fun to overself, we blasted our way thru balik pulau and teluk bahang. It was a nice outing for me as i manage to test my new tyres, while eugene having difficulties handling his car with crappy tyres(he's saving his neova's for track day). Hopefully D audi bugger thinks before saying anything because doesnt mean u have the car you can drive, it depends on the driver also. If the owner is reading my blog, I would humbly ask him to join us for the kampung gajah track day this coming 18th May. Good car doesnt mean everything, ive seen very good cars being overtaken by wira's , and even satria's.

I was on holiday, so I decided to go Kl for holidays and to check on colleges that i might be goin to in the future.KL is quite hethic for me, everyone is always on the move, including their cars :D I manage to meet up with my friend alan n carmen.As alan have exams, I manage to see him only 1 night of the 4 days I was there.My other friends has assignments to pass up so I ended up watching prison break for the rest of the days, and I manage to finish season 3 ! in 1 day !.

It was a boring night so i decided to join andrew for touge since he invited me.I took a slow drive up balik pulau to meet up with andrew and daniel. After reaching we waited for Raj to come. When he reached all of us did not waste time and started touge. Downhil was slow because we got block by a big lorry. As we reached teluk bahang, traffic was clear and everyone started to push except me. My crappy bald neova cant do anything in the wet as it will juz wheelspin whenever i throttle but overall, i did enjoy the breeze of teluk bahang as we drove. We stopped at the dam chit chatting. As time flies by, we decided to call it a day. Sorie bout no pictures as i was lazy to take.

Pulau jerejak, the forgotten isle

me and my friends went to pulau jerejak because everyone of us never went there before, even few of us that are from penang. We only heard about the island, but never went there before.To go to the island, we need to sit the boat from the jety that is located nearby queensbay mall. The boat trip took us 15 minutes. At the island, there was a resort and spa, which looks nice to me. It was really cosy and i would reconmend that u guys take a holiday trip there.A few of my friends decided to wait till evening to watch the sunset, so me n my frens juz sat down on the beach and waited till sunset. We played cards, chit chatted till we saw the sunset.It was fun because there were no sounds and you could find peace if ur the thinking type.well thats all, because I was busy thinking of stuff and didnt get the time to to explore the island.

yes, My exam has ended, and all I have to do now is to wait for my results ! After my exam, i decided to meet up with my friend to have lunch. She had frens that are from indonesia visiting her, so we decided to take her friends for a tour around penang.

The 1st visit was penang Hill, but, the cable car was not working, so we ended up goin to ke lok si temple. Its been awhile since i went there. It was fun, remembering old times when i was small, My parents used to bring me there for visiting or juz to excercise.It has change alot since i was small, I still remember that the whole 'lorong' was full of shoplots, but now, only a few can be seen.

There is one pond that has alot of tortise, but i seems that the numbers has gone down. only a handful can be seen. After walking around, We decided to
walk up to the temple. Kek lok si is turning into a comercialise place, almost everything talks about MONEY ! Since they build the bronze kuan yin, i have never been there, so we ended up siitng a cable car which the journey is less than 5 minutes and it cost rm 2 !

It was fun because ive never been there, The view is nice and the wind is refreshing.Hope to visit the temple for the next coming years to check out the progress of the kuan yin.

Open Track Day at Kg. Gajah -18th of May 2008

Hi guys, open track day at the Dato' Sagor Track in Kg. Gajah on the 18th of May 2008.

The date had been set as such since Wesak is on Monday so we'll all be off from work. Not to mention that it'll provide ample time to prepare your cars for the track excursion. This date is of course tentative and subject to change, depending on the majority of participants needs.

The price thus far had been set at RM100 for a full day of high-revving motoring fun. Of course there will be short breaks in between in respect for the nearby mosque as they'll be having their prayers. But more than ample track time to quench our insatiable appetite for RPM.

Me, Raj and Daniel was invited by team BC machine to witness the certificate giving ceremony on the pprevious defensive driving course by sean khoo. This event happened few weeks ago, but since I got nothing to post, ill post it up. After the ceremony, we decided to visit the touge roads at butterworth.It was fun and we enjoyed ourselves.We meet the guys at a temple which is their usual lepak spot. At the temple there was 2 arapaimas( some big fish) in the pond.
